Fashion Week, we hope you’re ready for Miley Cyrus, because she’s coming your way! While we’ve been buried in show coverage, band interviews, and tracking each and every moment of New York Fashion Week for you guys, Miley slipped in a piece of news about her own FW plans. The singer tweeted yesterday: “Fashion week packing ahhhh!” along with the photo of her clothes strewn across her floor. First of all, it’s comforting to see that even pop stars aren’t immune to those “I have nothing to wear!” moments. But more importantly, WHICH Fashion Week is Miley attending?! Considering the New York arm of the four-city whirlwind winds up on Thursday, she’ll have to get here—FAST— before the shows begin in London.
But then again, who knows? Maybe she’ll be sitting front row at London cool kid labels such as Christopher Kane, JW Anderson or Topshop. We ALREADY know how much she digs the U.K. high street retailer, and she’d fit right in with last season’s front row attendees like Elle Fanning. Regardless of where we see her, at least we know what she’ll be wearing. As Miley tweeted last night, “Cant forget that vintage @Versace.” Hint taken. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled to see where the singer pops up, but start placing bets on her Fashion Week pit stops now…
Get ready to shake your booty and show your team Miley spirit with the singer’s new remix of her hit song “See You Again.”
A rumor making the rounds on Twitter Tuesday afternoon led the Hannah Montana star to set the record straight on yet another online lie.
Several different Miley Cyrus fan groups on the social networking site sent out a tweet that ended up going viral. The post reads:
“There’s a new remix of “See You Again” coming out next month from Miley’s team. Can’t wait to hear her new music.”
The teen idol put a stop to the rumor before it even had a chance to gain momentum, by simply replying,
With the hundreds of tabloid fibs written about Miles, there’s no wonder she sets the record straight faster than two shakes of a lambs tail.
What’s old is new again, and Miley Cyrus looked to the past for her current look – the singer posted two pics of herself wearing some vintage duds and wrote, “All vintage today with a splash of The Row.”
The Row is the designer label created by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen. In another pic, Miley was decked out in Versace and wrote, “Can’t forget that vintage @versace.”
The 20-year-old has been working a new, edgier look lately. “You will never see me with long hair again!” she said of her new cropped ‘do. In a recent interview Miley talked about the reaction she encountered when she first debuted her short look. “I knew there would be one, ’cause from the beginning of time, any woman considered hot has had long hair,” she said of the negative backlash.
“And I think that is so off, because if someone has the confidence to cut their hair that automatically makes them more relatable – because they’re not shy, they have a sense of who they are,” Miley continued.
“Also, I feel like people can look at me and know me better and get a sense of who I am, rather than when I had my long hair. I didn’t represent who I was in any way.”
Miley Cyrus has no regrets about getting a divisive blonde pixie cut in August 2012. While promoting her latest movie, So Undercover, the 20-year-old star vowed to keep the short style for years to come.
“I hated the extensions — hair that’s sewn into your head. It’s creepy,” Cyrus told E! News of what prompted her to get a major makeover. “You will never see me with long hair again! My fiance [Liam Hemsworth] loves it. It’s so much easier to go shave the sides once a week rather than getting your roots done when you have long hair. I feel like when you have short hair, the messier it is, the better it looks.”
Short hair, Cyrus said, “looks better grungy and not washing it.”
Reiterating that she doesn’t miss her long brunette locks “in any way,” the “See You Again” singer said “it’s so weird seeing [pictures of] me and my long hair. I do not like it. I wish someone would have ripped them out of my head because the extension thing is just so not cute! I hate it.”
Her much-talked about mane aside, Cyrus said she’s gearing up for the release of her first album since 2010′s Can’t Be Tamed. “I’m ready to get that out,” she told E! News. “I’m excited to push play and have the world hear it!”

Title: TBD | Release Date: TBD
After 2010’s underwhelming “Can’t Be Tamed” left Miley a free agent, parting ways with longtime label Hollywood Records, the opportunity to further expand her pop sound into new and edgier places became quite appealing to the 19-year-old artist formerly known as Hannah Montana. As she told Billboard at September’s IHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas, Cyrus booked studio time with hip-hop producers like Pharrell Williams, Hit-Boy and Da Internz, the latter of whom helmed Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” and Big Sean’s “A$$.” Cyrus was still talking to labels around IHeartRadio time, but Billboard has since learned that the singer has signed with RCA for a release later this year and that Dr. Luke will be among the album’s collaborators.
Miley looks absolutely stunning as she covers the March 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine. She’s definitely matured in the most amazing way and looks so beautiful. You can view 3 different covers in our gallery, as well as some photoshoot images.
