Yes, the paps have discovered the “Hannah Montana” star, forming a scrum of ferocious men-dogs who camp outside her North Hollywood home. They follow her shopping at the Malibu shops, lurk around her lunch spots, accompany her to church, riding her bike, and then pop up again down in Nashville, where’s she’s recently gone to shoot the “Hannah Montana” movie. No one in the Cyrus camp (not Miley, pa Billy Ray Cyrus, her publicist, or her agent) would comment, though one person close to the star notes that the phenomenon started around February, when Cyrus returned to Los Angeles after finishing her world tour.

| Given the recent commotion over Lustra’s fans discovery of Miley Cyrus’ alleged borrowing of their music, Lustra would like to invite Ms. Cyrus to join them on stage at the Viper Room, Thursday, May 29, 2008. Lustra would play their song “Scotty Doesn’t Know“, following by Ms. Cyrus’ “Rockstar“, and then let their fans decide.
Initially, it was the many legions of Lustra fans that discovered the similarities with Ms. Cyrus’ music. Hence, Lustra believes that the fans should decide if the copyright problem does exist. “We don’t want anything other than credit for the music we worked so very hard on,” declares Nick Cloutman, Lustra’s guitarist. “We don’t believe for a second that Ms. Cyrus knew what was happening and was only following instructions.” Disney has admitted publicly that Ms. Cyrus’ does not write her own music but rather plays the songs that are selected for her. Lustra is well aware of that and realizes Ms. Cyrus’ dilemma and that she much like them, is a victim of corporate behavior. Another way to rectify this is to have Lustra appear on Hannah Montana as themselves and Hannah could open for the band in a show. MILEY CYRUS came close to quitting showbusiness following the fuss surrounding her provocative Vanity Fair photos, according to her pal and HANNAH MONTANA co-star ANNA MARIA PEREZ DE TAGLE.
The actress, who plays Cyrus’ sidekick Ashley on the hit kids TV show admits she’s had to boost her friend during recent phonecalls – because the teen sensation is so downbeat of late. The 15-year-old was forced to apologise to fans when a topless shot of her, wrapped in a bedsheet, appeared as part of a Vanity Fair photospread, upsetting family groups and parents across America. And Perez de Tagle admits the whole controversy has been tough on her friend. She says, “Sometimes I’ll talk to her on the phone and she’ll be like, ‘It’s really hard’ or ‘I’m really tired.
